Madannah Chesty is a natural balm filled to the brim with beneficial pure essential oils to help your little ones through the cold winter months.
Little Button Essential’s maker Carla Dillon hand makes and pours the creams in the kitchen of her family home.
“Every bottle that I pour gets a little piece of my heart,” explains Carla. “I really am proud of the products I make – all the trials, tribulations and knowledge is bottled up there in a bear stickered little jar.”
Madannah Chesty was the second in a range of natural creams that Carla developed, after many of her customers were calling for a natural alternative to other creams that relieve congestion and are available on the market. It features all natural ingredients in fractionated coconut oil, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic beeswax and certified pure therapeutic grade (CPTG) oils.
When you apply Madannah Chesty to the skin, the invigorating aromas from eucalyptus, lavender, tea tree, sandalwood, roman chamomile and peppermint fill the air, immediately working towards reliving congestion and restlessness that is associated with head colds and hay fever.
“I specifically selected these oils for their health qualities. For example, lavender is well known for its calming and soothing properties, which all little people could do with when they are suffering from congestion,” Carla explains. “The best tip I give my customers is to rub a little bit of Chesty on the feet of their little ones and pop some socks on before they go to bed for some overnight congestion relief. It’s a little bit of magic, it works, it really does!”
Another tip is to apply some Chesty on a mother’s chest while she cuddles her newborn. While it is not recommended to rub the balm into the newborn’s skin directly (the recommended age is 6 months), by applying it the mother’s chest the baby can breathe in the benefits of the essential oil while they cuddle.
Madannah Chesty is also available in diffuser form. Simply add a couple of drops into your oil diffuser and take in the healing aromas of the oils as they drift around the room.
