Birth Doula - Encourages self-confidence in women who are giving birth. I support women and their families through information, practical and emotional care during labour and birth, I help to empower and support mothers by suggesting positions, movements and changes that help ease pain, guide the mother’s breathing and help with relaxation. I can also give massages, hot packs, cold packs and other forms of comfort during labour.
Postpartum Doula - I can help by supporting you in your choices of feeding, settling into the newborn routine, your postpartum physical and emotional recovery, meal prep, light house work, or help with any of your needs while you’re settling.
Infant Sleep Coach - I can support you by helping to get your baby into a healthy sleep routine with custom plans, phone calls, and overnight stays.
Childbirth Classes - I offer evidence-based, unbiased information about the physiology of birth to expectant parents. My primary goal is to equip families with the knowledge and skills to evaluate all their options as pregnancy and labour progresses, as well as how to find their voice in the decision-making process.
Newborn Care Classes - You will learn what to expect in the hospital and during the first few weeks of your new baby's life, including tips on feeding, common skin conditions, colic and when to call for help. I can answer all of your questions about infant care, behaviour and development.
Placenta Art - Is using paint on your baby's placenta to make a print on paper as a keepsake. A placenta print is not something that everyone wants or needs and is a personal decision that can be done no matter where or how you give birth.
